Christine Rioux

I am a clinical psychotherapist and counsellor. I specialize in the cognitive-behavioural approach. I am part of the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario, the Canadian association of counselling and psychotherapy as well as the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.

Passionate about psychology for many years, I have always worked in related fields. Child psychology has always been very present in my work. I have worked in early childhood education for many years at the Cégep de St-Félicien and the Cegep de l'Outaouais.

Today, I dedicate myself solely to my private practice and its development and especially to help people.

Despite the fact that I a qualified psychotherapist, the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) recommends that members in good standing work in partnership with a supervisor in order to share experiences and specific case studies. Dr. Marcel Viens is my current supervisor.

Dr. Marcel Viens is a clinical psychologist specializing in cognitive-behavioral approach. He is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and is a member of the "Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies" and "Sleep Reseach Society." Within his private practice, Dr. Viens helps teenagers, adults, couples and seniors. In addition to treating a variety of common psychological problems, he specializes in sleep disorders.
